Loud, reliable, overpriced, heavy

For a monophonic system, this thing is way too heavy and overpriced. It is fairly loud though. I wouldn't say it is high-fidelity, but it does reproduce keyboard sounds well, especially ROCK piano and synth sounds. Even with a Kurzweil 2600 though, Jazz chord-voicings get cloudy in the midrange through this thing, despite a good bit a tweaking.

From experience, I have found all Yorkville / Traynor gear to be reliable. The company uses well-tested manufacturing techniques: surface-mount components, wave soldering, etched circuits, metal chassis, automated assembly, etc. You can be sure that this and any of their other products are solid. They have a good warranty to back that up too.

So if volume, reliability and simplicity are your criteria, this is a good choice.

If stereo-operation, value, lightweight or high-fidelity are more important to you than volume and endurance, look elsewhere. Best wishes...

Great sound penetration, even over the loudest guitar player. Great to use as onstage monitor with direct out to mains. I've used this amp for about 3 years now. No problems.

I purchased this unit approximately 4 months ago and have been pleased ever since. I enjoy the bottom end for the keyboards and I also use this amp for my guitar. I did however, add another cabinet for the mids and highs, because my guitar sounded like it was a little muddy when I was playing.
