Overview - Love this keyboard, great action, good sound through speaker, better sound through headphones.
Detail - I wanted a keyboard that I could just sit down and play on a moments notice like a regular acoustic piano. But I also wanted the option of recording into a laptop. This product gives you both in spades.
I love the action. You can pound or play lightly and it responds accordingly.
I also have it hooked to a dedicated laptop through a yamaha adaptor to write and record with.
I'm using Acoustica software for recording and everything seems to work very well. I say seems, because I'm a novice with the new digital recording techniques. I'm from the old school.
So take my digital review with a little caution since I'm new to this realm.
I really really like this keyboard and would recommend to anyone. I read the speaker complaints and haven't had any problem with that. And most of the time, I play through headphones and/or into the laptop.

This keyboard is great and has a nice sound quality for a keyboard. There was only a small problem because mine got a kind of fuzzy band across it too. But that didn't bother me cause I can still see. Overall great keyboard.

When i first bought this keyboard i loved it and couldnt quit playing it. After a while i noticed it would rattle a little and the speakers would pop, which was quit annoying. Now no matter how low the volume is the thing will rattle like crazy and the speakers will pop and its only getting worse. Ive only had it less then a year and I've have taken tremedously good care of it. It looks nice and has some great features but i cant get over the poor sound quality, which in my opinion is why most of us are paying this much for it so overall i would not get this keyboard unless you plan on playing through headphones (which sounds amazing). I think the whole problem with it is the speakers which i might replace later on down the road.

This keyboard is a living nightmare! I've had it for less than a month and I want to take it and throw it off of a very tall building. First, a nasty scratching developed in my E above middle C because the morons installed a key assembly that had a burr in the plastic (buy the way the keys are like legos once you get to see them). Spent 60 dollars to get it fixed and the next day I noticed ANOTHER KEY DOING THE SAME THING!... NIGHTMARE KEYBOARD! Also if you turn up past halfway the whole thing starts RATTLING LIKE CRAZY! COMPLETE JUNK! The songs, voices and lesson features are nice but does not even come close to making up for the lack of quality in this product! Please don't ignore this review unless you want to be stuck with a piece of junk. Save your pennies for a Roland guys...you'll be thanking yourself in the end instead of kicking yourself! ...general rule of thumb: If you don't spend at least $1500 on a digital piano, you'll be trying to sell a plastic hunk of junk before you know it. Guess I had to learn this the hard way.

Iīve played this keyboard a lot at my church and it has never dissapointed me. It looks really cool especially with the wood feel that it has.
Despite the fact that itīs a nice keyboard, I donīt know if I would by one because the price seems a little steep. Even so, it sounds nice, has a lot of cool sounds, and feels really nice to play.
