I am a guitarist who decided to start to play keyboard a little bit. I decided to get this keyboard because it has a lot of great features and it sounded like it had great quality from the reviews. I relize now that it is a lot better than the reviews say. It is a really really really good value for the price. I was going to get the Yamaha PSR-175 but I think this one is the better value. It has a thing called auto-acompianent which makes you sound like a whole band. You can also have it so one half of the keyboard is drums and the other half piano. It also has little pictures of the drums you are playing on top of each key. On the screen it also has a diagram of the keyboard and it highlights which keys you are playing which also helps a lot. It has so many features and qualiteis that if I where to explain them all it would probably take 2 or 3 pages. If you get this keyboard I recomend you read the owners manual even if you alredy know how to use it. It tells you about all the things it has and a lot about each thing. It's definitely worth reading. I really recommend buying this keyboard. It is a very good value. The one and only thing that is not so great is that it is a little quiet but if you turn it up anymore than about half way than it's fine. It also has a line out so you can plug it into an amp or a strereo system. I tried that. It helps a lot. This is a very good keyboard for a very good value.

Nice! I play the guitar and decided to expand my musical horizon. I haven't learned how to play yet, but my friend tried it out and it sounds awesome. I played around on it and I almost sounded good, and I don't even know how to play. It's worth the change to buy this beauty.

My bro owns this Yamaha keyboard, one word: amazing. Where can I begin? It sounds much better than the electric Yamaha pianos in my high school piano lab, which probably cost over a thousand. The piano sounds are very accurate and sound close to the real thing. The other voices sound excellent, the guitars sound like guitars, the harmonicas sound very good, and the drum sets are amazing. I like how they put little symbols above the keys so you know what you're playing when you have it on the drum function, very nice touch. The demo songs are great and I like how the lcd shows you what notes are being played even on the demo songs! It has all the basic features you'd expect and more. The only things that I can complain about are the keys aren't weighted and it doesn't have an actual pedal for sustain. I don't really use sustain on and off so it works. For the price it's AMAZING. If you want a cheap keyboard get this, you won't regret it.

This keyboard is outstanding! The sound it creates is crystal clear. It has tons of styles and features. A great piano for learning how to play too, with the helpful lcd screen on it. You definitely get bang for your buck on this item. Very generously priced.
