Good for what it does!

I've had it for a while now. Its good at what it does! The velocity is actually very good compared to most controllers. Its not hammer action, but the action is still good. Its better than synth action and the velocity plays well with most piano plugins I've used it on (Reason Pianos, NI Akoustic, TruePianos). Doesn't have many fancy rotary knobs or even a pitch wheel. I use it for piano only and it gets the job done.

The only thing that would bug most people is the plastic it is made out of. It reminds me alot of as someone said "trashcan" plastic.

Overall, a solid buy at the price and I would recommend to anyone who needs extra keys for piano VST, if not anything for the good velocity.

This midi controller is not intended as a substitue for a concert grand, however for those of us looking for a light weight portable midi controller with the feel of a high end 76 key semi-weighted keyboard, this more than fits the bill. The action is between your typical 61 key synth and a hammer action controller. Contrary to other reviews I have read the velocity sensativity is actually very good. Don't be scared away by negative reviews. Try it, You will be surprised.

I've used this this keyboard for over a year and love it. First its lightweight. Personally, I love the feel. It allows me to play B3 organ patches as well as piano with ease. For the person who didn't like the pitch wheel, why didn't you just buy the next version up that includes it? This is a basic keyboard, but its perfect for the person on the move.

It is a very good price for how many keys it has, the only thing was displeased with is, the semi-weighted keys don't seam weighted at all.

Midi systems are the most flexible. I have used this module to teach others how midi works. There's nothing to it. The only drawbacks are no aftertouch, no pitch wheel, and the lack of memory presets. Either keep your voice list nearby or use the manual controls on your sound module to get over this hurdle. If you want a pro sound with not a lot of bucks to spend just pair this controller with a mid range sound module. This is a great start.
