Don't worry you'll be fine

I use this to run vocals, and guitar and bass modelling processors. In all cases it cuts clean even at high volumes to blast along with a full band with drums at practice. I have no fear of blowing the speaker, and usually only have to turn it up to around 5 to compete with a drummer. It is kind of expensive for the watts, but you get what you pay for. This guys is durable, reliable, and sounds very very clear no matter what signal I put through it. As far as features go, it's pretty basic... just some EQ and this 'shape' button that I don't understand or bother with. I just leave the flat signal and do all my sound shaping in my effect pedals that run into it. Essentially, if this is where your budget is around, this is a good buy. You'll be fine.

I had a Peavey KB% prior to owning the Roland KC-350 and the Roland blows the Peavey away with sound quality. The KB% is a stereo amp and higher priced but my KC-350 dosen't "clip" out at higher volumne settings. I use a Kurzweil stage piano throught mine and a Yamaha synth.

The only thing better would be to have two of them...so I'm buying another for the stereo effect.

Great practice amp!

I've owned this amp for about 3 months now. At mid to lower volumes it's awesome. You really couldn't ask for more as far as the crisp, clear, and true sounds it replicates. However, when you adjust the volume up past 3/4 full, the amp begins to distort. It's a problem when trying to play an acoustic guitar or keyboard through it. This amp is more than sufficient when used at anything lower than 3/4 volume or singing. I'd recommend getting the next size up if you need it to compete with drums or loud guitars because it's a nuisance having to ask band members to play softer - and who wants to play softer anyway?

I love this amplifier. The KC350 is tough and powerful. It "kicks" out the sound in a loud "Rock and I'm Full of Myself Band". Just don't forget the earplugs. I feel that this amplifier is as good as the KC550, just not as heavy.

Roland 120W keyboard amp

Great amp for the gigging keyboardist. It's light enough to tote around but loud enough so you can hear yourself onstage. The input mixing is great -- especially the switchable input. You can use channel 4 to make your amp monitor a send from the mainboard -- great when the provided monitors are lacking! I only wish that there were sub outs for all the input channels, so I could do my own monitor mix and let the engineer to the house mix. Finally, I did have one problem -- the tweeter died within 2 weeks of new purchase, and I had to have it serviced... the warranty covered everything, and I haven't had any other problems.
