If you want to create layers or splits, dedicated buttons and the large LCD make the process fast and friendly. over all this is a good unit only a few this I would have liked would have been that unit recharges batteries when its plug up not having to take them out also more control on sound esp/drums no rolls,ending nothing just on and off, I've got a roland gw7 which I still use as my main board but this works well on the go for live proformances
