The Roland Fantom-X7 76-Key Sampling Workstation has produced a lot of the sounds you've heard on commercial music tracks. 76 full-sized keys, 128 voices, seamless integration of audio and MIDI with beautiful new ROM waves and sampling, plus realtime time-stretch capability. 128MB wave ROM includes 88 key split piano and more. 32MB sample RAM expandable to 544MB with optional DIMMs. Innovations such as color LCD screen, skip back sampling that retrieves what you just played as a sample, dynamic pad bank with 16 velocity-sensitive pads and aftertouch, as well as V-LINK for triggering and manipulating video clips. 3 MFX processors plus dedicated reverb, chorus, and mastering processor. This is the best keyboard I've ever owned the sounds are out of this world love the pianos, brass, strings, and clavs. I also love the color screen very easy to get around with and getting things organize without going through the manuals. Like I said this is the best keyboard period!.

I've own the fantom since last year and I gotta tell you is probably the best overall workstation I've ever had. The sounds are almost flawless and the ones that arent...a little tweaking will fixem in a minute. Great acoustic guitars, strings, winds and pianos. The elec. guitars are ok but once again nothing unfixable. Also if youre thinking of getting one a good idea is to get some srx cards specially if you do a lot of drums; nothing wrong with the sounds it comes with but the library in the cards are better. I've used it live and in the studio and nobody believes that "crazy sax solo" was just me and my fantom. Highly reccomend it!

I bought this workstation a year ago. I must say I can not live without it. Not only can I compose great conpositions, it also helps me out with my dj gigs. I love this board. The sounds and drums are excellent. The sampler is very user friendly. The thing that sold it for me is the built in mixer LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! This feature allows you to compose and do your studio mixing and record can't ask for more. This is the keyboard you must have!

i bought this keyboard about 4 months ago and it is the sickest keyboard at any store. It is exciting every time yoy play, I love this keyboard and i will probably have it for a long time. I play at my Dads church and every time the sound amazes me.

I'm buying the fantom within the next month or so. I've played it soooooo many times in stores and I've been won over so much that I wanted it for years and I'm tellin you what. It's definitely a keyboardists dream. other boards with like cd drives and hard drives built into them are waaayyy too pricey. Thats what your computer is for!! Regardless the fantom x series keyboards are in my opinion the perfect price, and It's just simply unbelievable. It's a true keyboard players dream.
