its ok for fooling around in the basement, but not great for volume since it's only 20 watts. good for practicing and it's small, but dont buy it for anything serious.

This is the weirdest monitor in that it doesn't really have a master volume; the closest things it has is the input level knobs. Don't believe me? Check out the user manual.

In addition, it's horrible with the lower frequencies at ~100Hz range. Floor toms suffer and acoustic kick drum sounds make a weird sucking sound.

This is a nice pratice amp for small room use, or if your onstage & line it through the PA & use it as a stage monitor. It is nice for a double stack keyboardist or an acoustic guitarist. WARNING : dont crank it up all the way or elese trouble will happen.
