I have used this live for several years, and it provides a beautiful tone, plenty of clean power, and a much broader stereo split than you would expect. It might seem overpriced compared to offerings from other manufacturers, but it is built like a tank. It easily withstands the rigors of the road. It will outlast any keyboards you play through it.

Mediocre Keyboard Amplifier

There is nothing special about this amplifier. It doesn't sound good. There is an audible persistent hiss. I opened up the cabinet to look inside, and the electronics looked very haphazardly wired. It feels cheaply made. It's heavy as hell. Nobody is going to notice stereo from this unit at a gig.

You're better off with a PA system. Save the cash, save your back.

This is a mediocre amplifier. It's way, way overpriced. I've taken apart the amp to see what it's made of, and it's nothing special at all. It looks handwired, and there are wires soldered between points to fix mistakes on the printed circuit board.

It's pretty heavy, most people will want to get casters to move this around comfortably. They're expensive if you want to order from Motion Sound, and you have to drill the mounting holes yourself. At least the handles on the sides are heavy duty.

The sound quality is so-so. There is a highly audible hiss when you turn the master gain up about midway, and that's even with the resistor modification suggested on their website. You really need to crank up the gain to get a decent volume out of this amp.

If you want stereo imaging, you might be better off getting two separate amps. You'll have better control over placement, and it'll be easier to transport.

The build quality is poor. You can tell just by looking at it. The knobs feel week. The speaker cover is easily damaged because of how it sticks out at an angle.

At this price, you can do a lot better.
