The MidiSolutions Router is a handy tool for routing MIDI signals, e.g I needed to send a signal to an arpeggiator, and then add it back to the MIDI signal. Problem was, that the original signal (before the arpeggiation) was still in there and caused doubling of notes. That router solved the problem.

Here's the reason why I gave it a below average quality rating: If you are sending MIDI clock signals on that same MIDI cable, you are set to have issues with that router: MIDI commands will be dropped, it's just a matter of time (don't know if the router starts dropping data with clock signals, or if it causes the destination devices to have problems receiving properly). And it sucks to be in a real-time situation, where suddenly a tone hangs and needs to be reset by an all-notes-off command. First I thought the sequencer MIDI interface had an issue, but then it happened with other synth modules too.

Bottomline: Nice idea, great concept, but if you are planning to use MIDI clock, don't buy it.
