I've actually used the XSession Pro in club gigs numerous times and it has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it for beginning DJ's or anyone who wants to check out Torq. I like the software so much I plan to upgrade to the full version with the Connectiv soundcard. Torq is considerably more visually intuitive than Tracktor and is very easy to navigate. Additonally the X-session mixer makes an excellent midi controller for other software systems that respond to midi messages like Abelton Live. The build quality is solid but its plastic so I wouldn't abuse it. My only gripe is that there is no upgrade path for the Torq software beyond purchasing Connectiv or the Xponent controller. Despite this shortcoming I think the X-session Pro package is a banging deal that should not be passed up for anyone potential or novice DJ.
