Poisonous lead

I did not actually get to use the controller, because of the warning sticker on the user manual about the unit containing chemicals including lead and that it is known to cause cancer, birth defects and reproductive problems.. The last sentence stated: "Wash hands after handling merchandise." It's a keyboard I would be using it for hours on end. I really hope this is not a common thing with M-Audio. Bummed because it was the only controller / audio with Vista x64 drivers I could find...

I haxe used the OZONE for years and it has never let me down. You can use midi and audio at the same time with no prob's. Phantom power for the mic is the s*** and although its not the exact thing for travel it is perfect for portability when you need a partime set-up. Perfect for project studio work.

This is a good interface and i just use the microtrack to record in the field with the axiom 25 and use this for recording at home. Great recorded sound. this is a good buy.

First off -- you're never going to escape running this thing off of pure USB! A normal MIDI controller requires very little power to operate, but combining that with a full-blown audio card that supports phaton power?? Let's be serious... Anyways, it's nice, but more assignable buttons/knobs would be cool. I'm a fan of having lots to assign. The more the better, but I suppose you can't fit so many on a unit of this size. Anyways, by mobile, I don't know about using it on a trian or plane, BUT I do know full well I can't take my studio with me to China for the summer, and this will be the perfect substitute...

I got one of these for Christmas. I use it with Apple GarageBand and ProTools in a fixed studio setup. The only complaint I have about it is that I don't really understand what all the extra knobs can be assigned to do. I'd much rather have an eq for the preamp instead of those. I'm only posting this review because an earlier reviewer said that you cannot use the audio and the MIDI at the same time which isn't true. I have used the keyboard while my friend played guitar several times and it plays and records perfectly with no latency.
