Beautiful Pianos for many applications

The Kurzweil SP-76 completely blew me away when I plugged it up. The crystal clarity of the Piano Samples were very impressive. It also offers many different Piano Voices including Bright Pianos and even some electric Grands that some better than most keyboard Grand Pianos!!

I mostly do Hip-Hop and modern R&B But often use Piano Sounds in my beats. The Sweet sounds on this thing can blend into any mix or they can stand alone if you need a piano sample. They aren't over-processed so I can use them for multiple applications.

To sum it up this is probably one of the best Stage Pianos you can get, especially for what it's going for what it's going for these days. If you've been thinking about it, go ahead and get it done. You won't regret it, I promise!!

I've had it for about 6 hours and I'm in love. Great sound. There comes a point where one has to realize that if you want the exact sound of a real piano... get a real piano. For the money, this thing has some great sounding pianos. The keys are a little "clacky", but they feel nice. And it's built to gig; rock solid. I'm so glad I shopped around (even returned a couple) and finally settled on this one.

I could do without the "wall wart" power supply, but oh, well.

I wish I'd bought two of these the last time the price dipped down 40% below current levels (thank the almighty strength of the American dollar), but it still represents the best value for the money--the only lower-priced keyboard I would be caught dead with as a professional pianist working a serious job--whether as a duo, trio, combo, or big band (I wouldn't recommend it for singles, though I've gotten by with it as a solo). The instrument has 32 sounds, all pretty good (though I'm surprised Kurzweil didn't throw in some vibes), and don't be misled--you can't split, layer, etc. without an external module. Strong suit: durabile and light-weight. I can carry piano, amp, stand in one haul! No wheels! Impossible with any other respectable keyboard, incl. Kurzweil. Nuff said.

Excellent Instrument for live worship

There is so much to be said about the SP76. First of all, it is AWESOME. The acoustic piano sounds are great. I have 7 digital pianos and keyboards from Yamaha, Roland and Korg and I have to say the piano sounds on this take the cake. Secondly, the feel of the SEMI weighted keys. Dont underestimate the feel of the keys. My Roland pianos with hammer action keys are no btter than this SP76. I was surprised with how much weight is found in the keys. I love the feel. Thirdly, You can adjust the key pressure which is great. If you are lookin for a lightweight , quality built digital piano for gigging or home enjoyment this is for you. I use mine with a Behringer 300 watt keyboard amp and it is amazing at outdoor worship concerts. Also, the piano is NOT purple. IT is black - what a relief! Back to sounds, my favorite sound for worship is Warm Electric Grand ... sounds like you are in a big church with a Baldwin grand! The only thing I wish is that the bass side of the keyboard had more punch. But that is minor. Easy to use. Easy on the ears. Easy on the pocket book. Buy it
