I think this is a great little amp to play on its not too loud but if you are only playing by yourself or with a friend it is a great choice. It does have a slight buzz but nothing that is too annyoing. This amp is also very durable it can definitly take a beating and its not too big so it is a perfect practice amp to take places. In all this amp is great for a begginer or a great practice amp.

Out of the box she ain't pretty, but that's not the issue(s). I wanted to hear this baby in action. So I get her plugged into my guitar and flip the switch... good God! The first thing I hear as I begin to turn the control knobs up is this brain melting constant hiss and hum. As I'm working to try and get that under control I start to hear a radio broadcast in the background (on my children's eyes)! Turns out it's the reverb control. If you turn it down all the way no more radio reception. Neat feature huh? To make a long disaster story short... If you're young and starting out in a garage band and need a cheap amp to kick around and spill beer on "this bud's for you". Otherwise plan on throwing down at least one Benjamin on a quality practice amp.

The amp worked very well. I just recieved it today in the mail and it was awesome coming right out of the box. A good friend of mine came over and brought his vox amp with him. The drive amp held its own. The vox had a little bit better distortion but that was because my friend had a peddle hooked up to it. Its also very loud. great amp.

I operate a small studio and I bought this amp for those times when a guitarist drops in, has a great riff, but no gear. Little did I know it would become a "requested" part of my recording arsenal. We call it "The Fist" as its 8" speaker and 20 watts makes it a very directional weapon perfect for close-in, precise micing. It can also scream with ferocity and you'll find yourself cranking up the bass and mids and reducing the treble to make this baby really growl. The only adjustment I've ever had to make was tightening down a couple of cabinet screws that rattled loose during a particularly harrowing sonic barrage. This little monster is a "MUST HAVE". Even the reverb is surprisingly sweet. At this price? Buy it NOW!

I think that this amp is just ok basically because the reverb isn't all that great (not that I use it to often) and it's not that loud. I've had this amp for a while ago and I just recently got in a band. I'm gonna buy a new amp that sounds better and is louder. If your a serious musician I suggest you do the same. But if your just wantin to play alone I'd buy this one
