Featuring the latest grand piano samples and a Tri-Sensor 88-note scaled hammer action keyboard, the Casio Privia PX-330 is versatile enough for any home, studio, or stage.

Realism, expression, and dynamics The PX-330 keyboard's grand piano sounds deliver an unprecedented level of realism and expression. Four dynamic layers of stereo piano samples are integrated with Casio's proprietary Linear Morphing System, for a grand piano sound with seamless transitions and a superior dynamic range. For added realism, the PX-330 simulates the sound of the open strings when the dampers are raised by the pedal using Acoustic Resonance DSP (digital signal processor). The Casio PX-330 also has 128-note polyphony, enough horsepower for the most demanding musical passages, and the ability to layer sounds and use the damper pedal without the worry of dropping notes. The result is a digital grand piano experience that is unsurpassed at this price.

Truly expressive touch The Privia PX-330 features a Tri-Sensor 88-note scaled hammer action keyboard. Casio's superior engineering results in an authentic piano touch that captures every detail and nuance of your performance. This scaled hammer action provides the weight, feel, and resistance of a piano without sacrificing the portability of the instrument.

Performance, studio, or stage The superior keyboard action, piano sound, and built-in USB MIDI interface make the Casio PX-330 the perfect music keyboard to integrate into your studio. When you're ready to take your Casio PX-330 to a gig, the built-in registration memory instantly recall splits, layers, and combinations of sounds. The Casio PX-330 also has 1/4" outputs for great live sound from your amp or the house PA system.

A 16-track recorder, pitch bend wheel, and more While it's easy to connect the Casio PX-330 keyboard to your computer, you can easily create and compose music using its internal 16-track recorder. Use the Casio PX-330 digital keyboard's 250 on-board sounds and 180 rhythms to record up to 16 tracks. The Casio PX-330 keyboard accepts SD (secure digital) memory, so you can save your songs and take them with you or load standard MIDI files that you've downloaded from the web. With these flexible tools, you can capture moments of creativity and remember your song ideas.

The Casio PX-330 also works great as a practice tool. A built-in metronome and optional accompaniment mean you can practice in time and listen later to what you've just played. A pitch bend wheel gives you full expression for 250 tones. Plug in other instruments or an MP3 player and hear them through the Casio PX-330 keyboard's internal speakers and headphones.

I just got my PX 330 and I just have to sya WOW! The Piano sound, especially through external speakers, is excellent! The four layers really come through and follow the dynamics of my playing perfectly. The Modern Piano is great and the Classical piano is good to have for a bit of a more mellow sound. The other sounds are really pretty good as well. I bought this as a portable practice and witting tool but feel like it will be my primary piano. Much better piano sound than my sp2x. All of these features below 7$00.00 is unbelievable. Love the drum grooves for practice and writing. Love the 16 track recorder for capturing ideas quickly! Really, this is an unbelievable value. I have never been more satisfied with a purchase! Thanks, Casio!

It is not a high-dollar Roland, Yamaha, or Nord. It does not sound like any of these, don't expect that. However, on a dollar-for-dollar basis this is a great bargain. Piano sounds really shine, and it has numerous to choose from. Electric pianos are useable, organs are very mediocre. Other general midi sounds are OK, drums not bad. Layered together, some sound better. Very easy to use. Had it up and running in a few minutes, using most of the features in a day or two.

BEST FEATURE: Key action. Played the 330 right next to a $2500 Roland. The difference in the key action was negligible.

Great bang for the buck. If it holds up on the reliability end, a super bargain.

There's some things that you'd like done better - the chintzy pedal, performance wheels/sliders, a small lcd, REALLY small buttons/labels, but boy does this thing deliver a big, realistic acoustic grand piano sound.

All I really cared about was a decent keyaction (has hammers on all keys, weighted AND scaled), reasonable price and piano sound - all my other classic rock keys come from Logic/Main Stage on a Mac PowerBook set-up.

The 4 levels (at p, mf, f and sfz) for each sampled note are the star of the show. It is wonderfully responsive making songs come alive with dynamics I couldn't achieve with simple velocity keyz. As many reported about the 320, the bottom and top octaves are especially dramatic, but I don't hear any "sizzle" many 320 owners reported in the middle samples. Like all samplers, the "real" acoustic sound is over after 3 or 4 seconds of sustain, but for pop/rock/most jazz that's enough. 128 polphony means you can pedal heavily and not drop notes. Sympathetic resonance emulation, too.

A couple Rhodes sounds usable, nice vibes patch acoustic bass, the others - well maybe in layers with the piano, but not stand alone. To me the organs were harsh, but again, those sounds didn't matter to me.

And yes, I could see where you could do a duo/trio gig with just the internal speakers. You'll need a real amp/PA if you work with a drummer, though.

Just beginning to get into programming custom patches and exploring the many educational features, but it is genuinely exciting to play it with others.
