Ok so this piano is the most unnatural sounding piano I've ever heard. Believe me when I tell you play it before you buy it, the price may sound great but when you play it its not a natural sound. Im not one of those types to bad mouth casio because the px 120 is alot better. But the 110 is not worth buying if you value a somewhat decent sounding realistic piano.

Nice piano but mine has noisy keys!

I am a piano teacher and professional church and wedding organist. I use my PX-110 for my 2 dozen students and also for church when a piano timbre is desired. It has served well and I'm pleased with it, although I'm not a stage musician and have limited exposure to expensive brands like Korg. But I'm sure it's a good buy for the money. My only complaint is that the keys click loud enough to be picked up by recording equipment. As for the line out problem many have written about...I just patched the Privia through to a Yamaha using a MIDI cable, and from there a standard 1/4" jack to the amp! There's probably an adapter on the market, but I had the Yamaha handy!

Good Keyboard for general use

Overall this is a great basic keyboard. Good sound and key response. If you want to use it for anything other than home jamming it's an expensive pain.
There is only one sustain pedal assembly that is compatible with this keyboard . . .(not offered from my favorite vendor).
The keyboard does come with a wonky little pad pedal. No other brand of sustain pedal will work with it, so don't mix them up.
The traditional pedal unit (sold seperately)only works with the "Casio Stand".
The bulky stand (sold seperately). .kind of like having to assemble an Ikea fiberboard shelf unit, so it's not something to go on the road with.
Great for home use.

Excellent all round

I just bought my PX-110 to replace an ancient Casio CPS-720 digi piano. I chose it after trying several budget digi pianos and I think I made the right choice. The more I play it the better it seems to feel and sound. If you close your eyes it is easy to imagine you are playing a grand piano as the hammer action keyboard is as good as a costly Yamaha and the sounds are rich and satisfying with no hint of thinness.
Another reviewer pointed out that there is no Line Out socket but I have recorded by connecting directly to the headphone jack and the results are superbly clear and hiss-free. With a very simple adaptor lead you could connect to PAs for gigging etc so no worries about no standard LineOut jack.
This is a very good solution to the difficult problem of making a cheap and convincing digi piano. The stand and pedal board are excellent too. I was surprised to find that the Sustain pedal also supports half-pedaling which is fully adjustable too. This piano has everything most people would need. Why fork out for a Clavinova?

It is perfect for me.

At lower volumes this piano sounds excellent. I am overly impressed by the quality of the samples and the velocity mapping feels very natural to me. I have a very picky ear and I kid you not, this piano sounds better than some of the digital piano's that I have played that cost several thousand dollars more. The only draw back is that this amp and these speakers lose their "realness" at higher volumes. So if you want a true piano replacement, this is not it. But if you want something you can practice on at softer volumes or with earphones, you will be thrilled. The keyboard feels really good to me. If you closed your eyes I think you would still know that it is not a "real" piano though. But it is pretty close. Close enough for me.
The other sounds are not quite as good as the piano in quality (as you would expect). The electric piano is actually quite good though. But don't buy this for the other sounds or beats, buy it for the piano and you will be content. I have had it for a year now and because of the price point, I don't feel I have to chase my kids off of it. I let them use and abuse it all they want without worry. I couldn't do that with an expensive board.
