All in all good piano

This is the first keyboard I have bought, and all in all, it has been great. The keys feel good and the different sounds all sound great! The only problem I have with mine, which is a BIG problem, is the fact that it keeps breaking. You have to keep it in EXTREMELY good shape or you'll be in my position, with a keyboard that wont turn on every couple of months.

This is an awesome piano for the money. It is hammer action and the keys are very responsive. The biggest problem is that I for the audio quality through the headphone jacks to be relitivley low. othere than that this is the best digital piano I have ever owned.

This is a great electronic piano. I've been playing piano for 45 years, and 35 of them professionally. I own a Yamaha and an Ensoniq and have owned a Roland. My Roland plays better but it weighs a ton, and this one might actually have a better acoustic feel. It's close anyway. I love it. It's not tough enough to take on gigs, but for playing at home, you can't top it.

Finally, A Piano I Can Afford and Move

Reason's I bought it: Weighted Keys. Portability. Price, outstandingly afforable. Beautiful tone on both GP-1 and GP-2. Everything else that comes with it is gravy. I really bought it solely for the grand piano, the REAL PIANO sound. I move about every two years, cost too much to move full size piano. Went 21 yrs without piano, finally bought the Casio PX-100 and in one week was back to were I was. Started lessons at 5, ended at 22, every week for 17 yrs, lost piano in move. All I play is Classical and boy, is this the piano for me. I can play all night with the head-phones on and record what I mastered. Foot pedals leave much to be desired. This is one serious piano for the beginner or the accomplished. Main reason was the weighted keys, it makes all the difference when playing, it strenghtens the muscles just like a real piano should. If a person walked into a dark room while I was playing, they would not know that it wasn't a full size standard piano. I would buy/did buy just for the Piano's crystal clear sound and the weighted keys.

best keyboard for the money. I've taken this piano on a tour. The only real inconvenience thus far has been the stripping/breaking of the power chord, kind of a cheap chord but oh well, no biggie. The voices are sort of authentic, but have their own distinct sound, which may be good for some and bad for others. Although, I can't talk too much, in that I primarily use the MIDI i/o for the keyboard. Other than that, the keyboard is very light and skinny.
