Just for starters, it has 570 built-in tones, including new stereo piano and acoustic instrument tones, 180 rhythms, including 74 ethnic rhythms and 20 patterns for piano play, as well as 152 Song Bank tunes, with 50 exercise phrases, to experiment with. The Casio CTK-4000 has 61 touch-sensitive, piano style keys with built-in DSP effects to add more depth and breadth to your music. Other important features include a pitch bend wheel, USB port, General MIDI, line inputs for a MP3 player, sampling, a step up lesson system, 6-track recorder, 305 music presets, and a whole lot more. This Casio keyboard also comes with a song book and music rest.

Great for Beginners and Intermediates

I got the CTK-4000 to help me brush up my piano skills and found that the device is worth the money I paid and then some. The 6-track recording function is great for putting together new ideas but be sure you download the management software so you can dump it to your PC or else the song will be lost when you unplug the power.

Great sounds and decent beats make this a nice song writing tool but I'm not sure if its stage worthy.

The built in lessons drill you on one hand then the other, then both. Great for getting your chops back after being away from the keys for years.

I suggest getting the bonus pack too which has power pack, sustain pedal and a couple other goodies for ya.

This keyboard is ok. It is not the best but for the money you cant beat it. It is good for any genre. The string sounds and choir sounds are amazing!

I would recomend it for a person tight on cash
