I bought this piano on clearance because I'd gone too long without an instrument (moving a upright 1900 piano from apartment to apartment never works). Such a value. Amazingly accurate feel and sound. Built in speakers project sufficiently enough. But for the price and the product this is an amazing value! I've had it now for three years!

This keyboard is one of the best in it's price range. This is a great keyboard for young users, hobbyists, and beginners. It's a quality piano and has some great sounds, although there is not much of a selection (5 stereo samples), but overall they sound pretty good, especially the electric piano and strings. I would recommend this to many people, however, if you are a professional musician, I would recommend something like a Korg.

I've had my CDP100 for a couple of months and I'm very pleased. It's very light and portable for an 88-key piano. The hammer action keys feel very good. The voices include two piano, Rhodes-type electric, decent harpsichord, and excellent strings. I'd recommend this model to anyone who is looking primarily for a good affordable digital piano and doesn't need or want a lot of bells and whistles.

I have never been a fan of Casio instruments, and stumbled upon this keyboard at a store when I was killing time. The CDP-100 has very comfortable piano-like action, surprisingly decent sounds (two pianos, an electric piano that's like a Rhodes with just a hint of Wurlitzer, harpsichord and very usable strings. The built-in speakers are not an embarrassment, either; they're unexpectedly well-suited to the task. Anyway, I was looking for a decent-sounding digital piano that had good hammer action, MIDI connectivity, and didn't weigh a ton or take up an excessive amount of space (front to back, anyway, an 88-key instrument will always be long). I was thinking that I'd have to spend closer to a grand to be happy, but I feel like Casio has a great value here in the CDP-100.

Big Piano sound-Little price

I bought this piano without the stand. I needed a piano to teach on and to take to small gigs. This fits the bill for me. The tone is good and the touch is nice. IT only has 5 sounds but all are good. You can layer any two of them. The most popular is the Piano and strings. The only problem I can see, is that the only output is a mini headphone jack. To plug into an amp you have to use adapters and they can be unreliable.
