88 key hammer action controller

So I did ALOT of reading on trying to find something to fit in this department. 88 key (realistic feeling) hammer action midi controller. The options are very slim when you come to this decision. So I decided to let you know how I feel about it now after making my decision.

Construction. It is built like a tank, alot heavier than one would think. However the bottom is made of fiber board? I don't know why you'd go through the lengths to make something durable then put a bottom on it like that. I'm buying a base for it. Otherwise than that no complaints really.

It was not vista compatible (I know I know why am I home recording in vista anyways). I found a few links in forums on how to get the drivers to work in vista though, and it was a real easy fix.

The keys play nicer than I thought. Having a few sliders, and knobs doesn't hurt as well. I've used these functions in cubase and in reason 4.

I play the studiologic 88 key hammer action keyboard in the store quite a bit and then compared to this (guitar center special ordered this for me to feel out) and the second I felt and saw the construction, the studiologic seemed alot cheaper.

The price is good too. Your not going to find anything else in this price range for a 8 key, hammer action midi controller.
