Terrific value for money

This amp is practically noiseless, lightweight, and powerful for the price, which is about half the price of comparable products from other vendors. It does exactly what you want a keyboard amp to do: it makes whatever signal is fed to it louder, with little to no added coloration.

The most important limitation from a keyboard player's point of view is the 8" speaker, which is not large enough to reproduce very low bass frequencies with any authority. But any keyboard amp with an 8" speaker will have the same limits on performance. If your music demands a lot of volume for bass-heavy material, buy a keyboard amp with a 10" or 12" speaker instead of this.

There are a few other limitations worth mentioning: the amp has no line-out (though it does have a headphone out jack), no built-in effects, and no effects loop. At this price point, it's not reasonable to expect built-in effects, and in any case multi-effects units are very reasonably priced now. I run a Digitech RP350 multi-effects unit in front of this amp, and the two make a terrific combination.

Summary: solid build quality, excellent sound quality for the size, noise-free operation, and a very competitive price. I own several other amps in various size and price ranges, and this one offers value for money as good or better than any of them. Highly recommended.

I finally bought a amp for my dm5 pro drum kit was using my 3000$ stereo system carefully til now. WOW i played my drum kit more the first time i pluged in the kt108 than i did when i first got the kit. it just brought the drum kit to life amazing for the money i recommend tweeking the EQ for best sound balance when using drum kits, this is my 4th amp though guitar amps so i have some experience. it makes my kit feel like a real set for the first time. i did notice also if you have 2 channels on your drum kit plug then into both channels on the k108 for even better sound dont go mono. only complaint and not really for the money cd input so far doesnt seem loud enough but it could be what im plugging into it

I play my Micron synth through it and it sounds fantastic. I will get another one so I can play my Yamaha keyboard through two for a good stereo effect.

Muddy Muddled Sounding

I normally have good luck with Behringer products, including another of their keyboard amps (K900FX), but I've never really been happy with my KT108. It goes plenty loud enough for a practise amp, sure, but the sound is muddy. No matter which way I turn the EQ dials, the bass notes are poorly defined, the highs sound fuzzy, and the mids seem grainy. I'm normally a poor judge of sound quality, but it's just obvious in this case. I still keep this amp around, though, since the dual inputs in a unit of this size are convenient when I travel (not gigging) and can't take the larger K900FX with me. Can't recommend the KT108, though.

Man this amp sounds great, I just bought it for my first amp and it sounds ten times better than the speakers on the keyboard. It is also very cheap but it works great. It is also nice to be able to put 2 instruments in it that is a very nice feature. Anyone who wants a keyboard amp for practicing get this one.
