This keyboard functions as an OK synthesizer. Screen is pretty much a drag compared to my Korg Triton Extreme. It is a good price though. Also since it is made to function as a stage piano, the weighted keys are definitely weighted, but still really "keyboardist."

This is probably the best keyboard I have ever owned and it has 88 weighted keys. I needed good organs pianos pads and leads. My influences are dream theater, pinkfloyd, rush and, journey so I need lots of different sounds. But overall I think it is a great synth and it can be a good stage piano as well. I would definatly pick one up.

This is was my first electric keyboard. I was looking for something that would be good all around as both a synth and a stage piano, and it does exactly that. It has most sounds you could reasonably want. The pianos are pretty solid, the organs are about as good as organs really ever get on keyboards, and there are some very nice synths on there too. Editing programs is a little more difficult than with some other boards I've used, but it's not that hard to figure out. The construction is sturdy, and after a year, the thing hasn't let me down yet. Overall, it's great, solid sounds, good action, and dirt cheap. A really awesome product.

The Alesis QS8.2 is really awesome. I have a lot of progressive influences like rush, pink floyd, and so on, so I need something to produce a lot of cool sounds. And I got it. About 70% of the sounds in it sound very realistic. And plus editing is real easy. It's great for someone who is a beginner at synths. I would definitely recommend this product!!
