ok i been in to the mpc family for a long time. sample base to me the is the best. why ? you have to do all the programing. so all the soumds you have on the mpc you did the work. you can go on e bay and buy sounds chop up if you like. if you master the mpc you can have the mpc run the studio by midi. i say it's the best. i have the 2000xl,1000 and the roland mv 8000 but i always go back to the mpc

I seen people using it and got interested in it and purchased one. it took me a few weeks to get everything down pat, but staying in my manuel and experimenting for hours it all paid off. The MPC 2kl is a beautiful machine and worth every penny. i love it and encourage people to test it out.

This is a great toy to have, but like anything else in a studio, it's worthless if you dont know how to use it. Just beware that if you buy this you will need sounds to sample into the MPC, so you need a little more equipment, but other than that, it's a tight little number.
